Kalki 2 Shooting to Wrap by Mid-2027

Director Nag Ashwin has announced that regular filming for 'Kalki 2898 AD Part 2' will commence in mid-October 2026. The team aims to complete the entire shoot by mid-2027 before moving into post-production. Individual scenes with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan were previously filmed while awaiting Prabhas's dates. Ashwin confirmed no new characters will be added, focusing on continuing the established story. The franchise is envisioned as a larger universe, exploring themes of time, immortality, and rebirth.

निर्देशक नाग अश्विन ने बताया है कि 'कल्कि 2898 AD पार्ट 2' की शूटिंग अक्टूबर 2026 के मध्य से शुरू होगी। टीम का लक्ष्य 2027 के मध्य तक पूरी शूटिंग खत्म करके पोस्ट-प्रोडक्शन में जाना है। पहले अमिताभ बच्चन और कमल हासन के कुछ सीन प्रभास के डेट्स का इंतज़ार करते हुए शूट किए गए थे। अश्विन ने कहा कि कोई नया किरदार नहीं जुड़ेगा, कहानी वहीं से आगे बढ़ेगी। यह फिल्म समय, अमरता और पुनर्जन्म जैसे विषयों पर आधारित है।
