Mumbai Restaurants To Hike Prices By 10-15% From Next Week
Times of India · business
Restaurants across Mumbai are set to increase menu prices by 10% to 15% starting next week. The Indian Hotel & Restaurant Association (AHAR) cited rising costs of cooking gas, food, rent, labour, and transportation as reasons for the hike. This increase will affect daily meals like idli, dosa, and dal-rice, potentially adding significantly to the monthly expenses of office-goers, students, and families. AHAR represents over 25,000 restaurants and bars in the city.
