The police force will also soon receive 450 Assistant Sub-Inspectors and 3,400 police personnel currently undergoing training. Mann emphasized that police have full freedom to take legitimate action against drugs and directed them to engage with communities. The government is expanding and modernizing the force with advanced technology, including CCTVs and anti-drone systems, to tackle sophisticated drug trafficking networks.
