BSP chief Mayawati announced the re-induction of her nephew Akash Anand into the party and his reinstatement as national convener. She stated that with his father-in-law, Ashok Siddharth, retiring from politics, there is no longer a need to separate Akash from the party. Mayawati clarified that Akash was never expelled but was separated multiple times to improve his understanding and realize his mistakes. She expressed hope that Akash will now progress in his political career without further separations.

बसपा प्रमुख मायावती ने अपने भतीजे आकाश आनंद को पार्टी में फिर से शामिल करने और राष्ट्रीय संयोजक के पद पर उनकी बहाली की घोषणा की। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके ससुर अशोक सिद्धार्थ के राजनीति से रिटायर होने के बाद, आकाश को पार्टी से अलग रखने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है। मायावती ने स्पष्ट किया कि आकाश को कभी भी निष्कासित नहीं किया गया था, बल्कि उनकी समझ को बेहतर बनाने और उनकी गलतियों का एहसास कराने के लिए उन्हें कई बार अलग किया गया था। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि आकाश अब बिना किसी और अलगाव के अपने राजनीतिक करियर में आगे बढ़ेंगे।
