Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has reiterated the opposition's slogan against the current government, stating, "This government will go." His remarks align with similar sentiments expressed by Rahul Gandhi. The opposition's criticism has intensified over the Centre's handling of the Election Commission controversy and the use of security forces against protesters. A newly formed group, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has also targeted the Chief Election Commissioner, demanding his removal. However, their planned protest in Delhi was curtailed, with several political figures being detained.
