India-US Trade Pact Finalisation To Be Shaped By Changed Circumstances

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal stated that the final trade pact between India and the US will be shaped by changed circumstances, following an interim agreement framework announced in February. Negotiations for trade agreements are also ongoing with regions including Israel, Chile, the GCC, and the Eurasian Economic Union. Talks with Canada are progressing faster, and discussions with Mexico will commence next week. The minister also noted that trade ministers from the UK and Canada will visit India soon.

वाणिज्य मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि भारत और अमेरिका के बीच अंतिम व्यापार समझौता बदले हालात से तय होगा, फरवरी में एक अंतरिम समझौते की रूपरेखा की घोषणा के बाद। व्यापार समझौतों के लिए बातचीत इज़राइल, चिली, जीसीसी और यूरेशियन इकोनॉमिक यूनियन सहित क्षेत्रों के साथ भी चल रही है। कनाडा के साथ बातचीत तेजी से आगे बढ़ रही है, और मेक्सिको के साथ चर्चा अगले सप्ताह शुरू होगी। मंत्री ने यह भी बताया कि यूके और कनाडा के व्यापार मंत्री जल्द ही भारत का दौरा करेंगे।
