MDMA Seized From Inmates At Kannur Women's Prison; Case Registered

Kannur Town police in Kerala have registered a case after MDMA, a banned narcotic substance, was seized from inmates at the Kannur Women’s Prison. The substance was allegedly brought into the prison illegally for consumption by the inmates. Authorities detected the contraband and handed it over to the police. The substance was recovered from Roshni Savio, who allegedly received it from P.K. Rubaida. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Kerala Prisons Act and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
