केंद्रीय मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि दुनिया एक धर्मशाला की तरह है, और उन्होंने कॉर्पोरेट जगत से कॉर्पोरेट सोशल रिस्पॉन्सिबिलिटी की सच्ची भावना को अपनाने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि पानी, जंगल और जमीन जैसे प्राकृतिक संसाधन सिर्फ व्यक्तियों के नहीं, बल्कि समाज के हैं। चौहान ने महिला स्वयं सहायता समूहों की सफलता पर प्रकाश डाला, जिनमें 30 मिलियन 'लखपति दीदी' बन गईं और उन्हें महत्वपूर्ण बैंक लिंकेज मिले। उन्होंने इन समूहों के प्रशिक्षण, ब्रांडिंग और बाजार पहुंच में कॉर्पोरेट समर्थन का आह्वान किया, और पर्यावरण संरक्षण तथा कृषि में 'लैब से लैंड' दृष्टिकोण की वकालत की।
