3,142kg Ghee Sale Stopped After Quality Test Failures

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has stopped the sale of 3,142 kg of ghee, valued at Rs 12.9 lakh, after five samples failed quality tests. Raids were conducted on three distributor units, leading to the seizure of the ghee stock. One distributor's shop was also sealed for operating without a food licence. The manufacturing units are located across Gujarat, and the state government will be informed for further action. Consumers are advised to exercise caution due to the risk of adulteration in loose ghee.
