Russian Stock Market Closes Lower Amidst Profit-Taking

Russia's stock market experienced a downturn on Thursday, with the MOEX Index dropping 1.57% to 2,248.87 points and the RTS Index falling 1.97% to 838.3 points. Market experts attributed the decline to profit-taking activities. Despite the broader market slump, Samolet Group emerged as the top gainer, increasing by 5.1%. Retailer Lenta was the biggest decliner, dropping 5.6% ahead of its exclusion from the MOEX Index.

गुरुवार को रूस के शेयर बाज़ार में गिरावट देखी गई। MOEX इंडेक्स 1.57% गिरकर 2,248.87 पर आ गया, जबकि RTS इंडेक्स 1.97% लुढ़ककर 838.3 पर पहुँच गया। जानकारों का कहना है कि मुनाफ़ावसूली के कारण यह गिरावट आई। हालाँकि, Samolet Group 5.1% बढ़कर सबसे ज़्यादा फायदे में रहा। Lenta रिटेलर 5.6% गिरकर सबसे ज़्यादा नुकसान में रहा, क्योंकि यह MOEX इंडेक्स से बाहर होने वाला है।
