YouTuber Dhruv Rathee Detained in Gurugram Ahead of Delhi Protest

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee and content creator Kavya Karnatac were detained by Gurugram Police ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) condemned the detentions, calling it a government crackdown to silence dissent over electoral roll irregularities. Germany-based Rathee was detained after refusing to comply with police requests not to travel to Delhi for the protest. CJP demanded the immediate release of Rathee and other activists, stating the "dictator is terrified" of questioning youth. Security was heightened in Delhi with extensive police deployment and restrictions.
