Saudi Arabia apprehended 13,822 individuals during a nationwide inspection campaign targeting residency, border security, and labour law violations. The arrests, conducted between October 8 and 14, saw 6,547 detained for residency breaches, 3,896 for border security infringements, and 3,379 for labour law violations. Authorities also deported 9,454 people and referred thousands more to their diplomatic missions or for departure arrangements. The crackdown included arresting 24 individuals for aiding violators, with severe penalties threatened for those facilitating illegal entry or harbouring offenders.
