Spanish Scientists Find First Diplodocus Evidence In Europe

Spanish scientists have discovered the first evidence of the Diplodocus dinosaur genus outside of North America. Bones were found at the La Tejeria fossil site in eastern Spain, dating back approximately 150 million years. This find includes vertebrae and chevron bones, representing one of the most complete diplodocid skeletons found in Europe. The discovery supports theories of continental faunal exchange between North America and Europe during the Late Jurassic period.
