Union Minister Inaugurates Flying Training Academy in Kurnool

Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu inaugurated the Orient Flights Aviation Academy in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, marking a historic development for the state. He emphasized that Flying Training Organisations (FTOs) are crucial for developing the human resources needed for India's expanding aviation sector. With approximately 1,600 aircraft on order, the country will require an estimated 25,000 to 30,000 pilots in the next 10 to 15 years. The government is actively working to increase the number and capacity of FTOs nationwide to meet this growing demand.
