Andhra Pradesh Leads India in Patient Safety

Andhra Pradesh has achieved the top rank nationwide for patient safety, scoring 86. This achievement was announced by the State's Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare, citing data released by the Central government. The state conducted patient-safety inspections across 62 hospitals, 53 area hospitals, and nine district hospitals using a self-assessment system. Furthermore, Andhra Pradesh improved its National Quality Assurance Scheme certification to 65%.

आंध्र प्रदेश ने मरीज़ों की सुरक्षा में पूरे देश में पहला स्थान हासिल किया है, जिसे 86 अंक मिले हैं। यह जानकारी राज्य के स्वास्थ्य, चिकित्सा और परिवार कल्याण विभाग ने केंद्र सरकार के आंकड़ों के हवाले से दी। राज्य ने 62 अस्पतालों, 53 एरिया अस्पतालों और नौ ज़िला अस्पतालों में खुद के मूल्यांकन से मरीज़ों की सुरक्षा की जांच की। साथ ही, आंध्र प्रदेश ने नेशनल क्वालिटी एश्योरेंस स्कीम सर्टिफिकेशन में सुधार कर इसे 65% तक पहुंचा दिया है।
