A middle-aged woman, identified as Rubiya Tej from Karnataka, was allegedly murdered by her husband, Naveed Basha, using a broken beer bottle inside a lodge in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. The couple had been married for 13 years and had four children. Police suspect marital discord as a possible motive, though the exact reason is still under investigation. The accused has been taken into custody, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Madanapalle I Town police have registered a case and are conducting a detailed inquiry.
