Navratri celebrations have begun, with Kanya Pujan holding significant importance during this period. It is believed that young girls embody Goddess Durga, and worshipping them brings her blessings. Devotees traditionally invite nine girls, along with a young boy representing Batuk Bhairav, to their homes for a feast on Ashtami or Navami. If nine girls cannot be found, the scriptures advise that worshipping in odd numbers like one, three, five, or seven is also acceptable and will still yield the full benefits of the ritual.
