Assam Govt Increases Orunodoi Scheme Aid

The Assam government has decided to increase the assistance provided under the Orunodoi scheme to Rs 1,500 for the month of October. This enhancement is being offered as a special gift to beneficiaries during the Durga Puja festival. In addition to the financial boost, the state cabinet also approved an additional holiday for Durga Puja on October 17, 2026. This brings the total number of notified holidays for the festival to five. The scheme aims to provide financial support to families in need.

असम सरकार ने अरुणोदय योजना की सहायता बढ़ाई

असम सरकार ने अक्टूबर महीने के लिए 'अरुणोदय' योजना के तहत दी जाने वाली सहायता राशि को बढ़ाकर ₹1,500 करने का फैसला किया है। यह बढ़ोतरी दुर्गा पूजा के मौके पर लाभार्थियों को एक खास तोहफे के तौर पर दी जा रही है। राज्य कैबिनेट ने दुर्गा पूजा के लिए 17 अक्टूबर 2026 को एक अतिरिक्त छुट्टी को भी मंजूरी दी है, जिससे त्योहार की कुल छुट्टियों की संख्या पांच हो गई है।
