Delhi Police Detains Protesters Calling For Election Commissioner's Resignation

Delhi was heavily fortified as the CJP organised a protest at Jantar Mantar against alleged voter list exclusions. Demonstrators demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Police implemented multi-layer barricades, drone surveillance, and body cameras, detaining protesters including members of a left student wing. Security measures, including identity checks and deployments of RAF, CAPF, and the Pink Force, were in place to prevent demonstrations. Protests are expected to continue for several days.
