HC Raps Noida DM Over Student Detention

The Allahabad High Court has quashed the National Security Act detention of student activist Akriti Chaudhary. The court ordered Noida officials to pay five lakh rupees in compensation to the Delhi University student. The bench strongly criticized the arbitrary invocation of the stringent preventive detention law.

हाई कोर्ट ने छात्र को हिरासत में लेने पर नोएडा डीएम को फटकारा

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने छात्र एक्टिविस्ट आकृति चौधरी की NSA के तहत हुई गिरफ्तारी रद्द कर दी है। कोर्ट ने नोएडा अधिकारियों को दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी की छात्रा को पांच लाख रुपये मुआवजा देने का आदेश दिया है। बेंच ने इस सख्त निवारक निरोध कानून के मनमाने इस्तेमाल की कड़ी आलोचना की है। यह फैसला छात्रों के अधिकारों के लिए एक बड़ी जीत है।
