Three friends with diverse backgrounds in music, war zones, and movie marketing have successfully launched burger businesses in Mumbai. Jimmy Bhore, a musician, learned the trade from a vada pav cart owner before starting his own venture. Sijo Mathew, who worked as a war contractor, co-founded Good Flippin'. Anant Chowdhary, from movie marketing, also entered the food industry. None had formal culinary training, yet they became integral to Mumbai's growing burger culture.
