Thousands of Children Begin Education on Vijayadashami in Kerala

Thousands of children in Kerala embarked on their educational journeys on Vijayadashami, participating in the traditional Vidyarambham ceremony. At the Thiruvullakkavu Sree Dharma Sastha temple in Thrissur, approximately 8,000 children were initiated into learning by around 50 acharyas. The ritual involved tracing sacred letters on tiny tongues with a gold ring and guiding little fingers to write on rice. This auspicious ceremony marks a significant cultural and educational milestone for young children and their families in the region.

केरल में हजारों बच्चों ने विजयदशमी के शुभ अवसर पर पारंपरिक विद्यारंभम समारोह में भाग लेकर अपनी शिक्षा की शुरुआत की। थ्रिस्सूर के थिरुवुल्लाक्कुवु श्री धर्म शास्त्र मंदिर में लगभग 50 आचार्यों ने करीब 8,000 बच्चों को अक्षर ज्ञान कराया। इस रस्म में सोने की अंगूठी से नन्ही जुबान पर पवित्र अक्षर लिखवाए गए और चावल पर छोटी उंगलियों से लिखवाया गया। यह शुभ समारोह इस क्षेत्र के छोटे बच्चों और उनके परिवारों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण सांस्कृतिक और शैक्षिक मील का पत्थर है।
