Sebi Whole-Time Member Kamlesh Varshney Gets Extension

Kamlesh Chandra Varshney has received an extension as a whole-time member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved his reappointment beyond September 19, 2026. Varshney, who joined Sebi in September 2023, will continue in his role until he turns 65 on August 4, 2029.
