Jharkhand Govt. Opposing Mines Act for Coal Theft

Union Minister Annpurna Devi accused the Jharkhand government of opposing the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act to facilitate coal theft and increase personal revenue. She stated that the Act aims to streamline taxation, bring transparency, and boost investments and employment by curbing arbitrary state actions. Devi highlighted that other states, including Congress-ruled ones, have welcomed the Act. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren previously called the amendment a "black Bill" and questioned Delhi's authority over state mineral rights.

झारखंड सरकार कोयला चोरी के लिए माइंस एक्ट का विरोध कर रही है

केंद्रीय मंत्री अन्नपूर्णा देवी ने झारखंड सरकार पर कोयला चोरी को बढ़ावा देने और व्यक्तिगत राजस्व बढ़ाने के लिए Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act का विरोध करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस एक्ट का उद्देश्य मनमानी राज्य कार्रवाइयों पर अंकुश लगाकर कराधान को सुव्यवस्थित करना, पारदर्शिता लाना और निवेश व रोजगार को बढ़ावा देना है। देवी ने बताया कि कांग्रेस शासित राज्यों सहित अन्य राज्यों ने इस एक्ट का स्वागत किया है। इससे पहले झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने इस संशोधन को "काला विधेयक" कहा था और राज्य के खनिज अधिकारों पर दिल्ली के अधिकार पर सवाल उठाया था।
