Bharti's Sunil Mittal Claims Eutelsat OneWeb Ahead of Starlink in India Approvals Queue

Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal stated that his company's venture, Eutelsat OneWeb, is significantly ahead of Elon Musk's Starlink in the queue for satellite communication approvals in India. Mittal mentioned that they applied five years ago and are still awaiting necessary permissions, despite their ground network being ready for three years and satellites hovering over India for five years. This comes amid a dispute where Musk accused Indian "oligarchs" of blocking Starlink's spectrum access, a claim India's communications ministry rejected as baseless.
