Armani Open to Multiple Investors for Stake

Italian luxury group Armani is open to involving multiple investors in the sale of a 15% stake, as stipulated in founder Giorgio Armani's will. CEO Giuseppe Marsocci indicated that the stake is not necessarily going to a single buyer. The will specified an initial sale between 12 and 18 months after Armani's death last September. Preferred buyers named include LVMH, L'Oreal, and EssilorLuxottica, but other investors of equal standing are also welcome. The company aims to respect the founder's timeline, pending agreement on price and details.
