Times of India · politics
The BJP has accused the Himachal Pradesh Congress government of violating pensioners' rights and weakening the state's healthcare system. BJP state president Dr Rajeev Bindal alleged that approximately 1.5 lakh retired employees are awaiting medical reimbursements and other dues. He further claimed that government hospitals are facing shortages of essential medicines and disruptions in diagnostic services. Surgeries have reportedly declined significantly due to pending payments under healthcare schemes, and the 108 ambulance service is also facing delays.
