CBSE Class 10 Exams 2028: 5 Compulsory Subjects, Optional Skill Paper Introduced

The CBSE has outlined the structure for its 2028 Class 10 board exams, requiring students to take five compulsory subjects. An optional skill paper will also be available, serving as a safety net for students who might fail in core subjects like mathematics, science, or social science. This clarification is for students currently in Class 9 in 2026-27. The Board also confirmed that interdisciplinary areas and CT and AI modules will not be part of the scheme of studies.

सीबीएसई ने अपनी 2028 क्लास 10 बोर्ड परीक्षा की संरचना बताई है, जिसमें छात्रों को पांच अनिवार्य विषय लेने होंगे। एक वैकल्पिक स्किल पेपर भी उपलब्ध होगा, जो गणित, विज्ञान या सामाजिक विज्ञान जैसे मुख्य विषयों में फेल होने वाले छात्रों के लिए एक सुरक्षा जाल का काम करेगा। यह स्पष्टीकरण उन छात्रों के लिए है जो वर्तमान में 2026-27 में क्लास 9 में हैं। बोर्ड ने यह भी पुष्टि की है कि इंटरडिसिप्लिनरी एरिया और सीटी और एआई मॉड्यूल अध्ययन योजना का हिस्सा नहीं होंगे।
