US Lifts Sanctions on Russian Diesel, Restricts Ukraine's Satellite Access

US President Donald Trump has lifted some oil sanctions against Russia, allowing the sale of 1.8 million tonnes of diesel to global markets. This move effectively reversed a prior act that allowed sanctions on countries buying Russian oil. Ukraine's President Zelenskyy expressed pain over the US decision, stating it was not the 'right side of history.' Additionally, Ukraine reported restricted access to SpaceX's Starshield satellite services, hobbling its defence against Russian drones and missiles. Starshield services have since begun returning to normal.
