Arunachal Cabinet Approves Panel For Siang Dam Survey

The Arunachal Pradesh State Cabinet has approved the formation of a high-level committee to oversee the pre-feasibility survey for the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project. This project aims to generate over 11,000 megawatts of hydroelectricity and is considered a national project by the Union government. The committee will guide and coordinate survey activities, addressing concerns from villagers along the Siang River.

अरुणाचल प्रदेश की राज्य कैबिनेट ने सियांग अपर मल्टीपर्पस प्रोजेक्ट के प्री-फीजिबिलिटी सर्वे की देखरेख के लिए एक हाई-लेवल कमेटी बनाने को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस प्रोजेक्ट से 11,000 मेगावाट से ज़्यादा बिजली बनेगी और केंद्र सरकार इसे राष्ट्रीय प्रोजेक्ट मानती है। यह कमेटी सर्वे का मार्गदर्शन करेगी और सियांग नदी के किनारे बसे गांवों की चिंताओं को दूर करेगी।
