Karnataka HC Orders Bar Council To Create Mechanism To Detect Illegal Lawyers

The Karnataka High Court has directed the Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) to develop a system for identifying individuals practising law without the necessary qualifications. Justice HP Sandesh issued this order while refusing to halt an investigation against an advocate accused of illegal practice. The court emphasized the need for KSBC to ensure advocates who have not passed the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) do not continue practising.

कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट ने कर्नाटक स्टेट बार काउंसिल (KSBC) को जरूरी योग्यता के बिना वकालत करने वाले लोगों की पहचान के लिए एक सिस्टम बनाने का निर्देश दिया है। जस्टिस HP Sandesh ने यह आदेश एक वकील के खिलाफ चल रही जांच को रोकने से इनकार करते हुए दिया, जिस पर अवैध प्रैक्टिस का आरोप है। कोर्ट ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि KSBC को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि जिन वकीलों ने ऑल इंडिया बार एग्जामिनेशन (AIBE) पास नहीं किया है, वे प्रैक्टिस जारी न रखें।
