Fuel Prices Unchanged Despite Crude Oil Rise

Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities on September 29, despite a second consecutive day of rising crude oil prices. State-run oil marketing companies kept retail fuel rates steady following their daily revision. In Mumbai, petrol continued to sell at ₹111.21 per litre. Global crude oil prices saw gains driven by concerns over potential supply disruptions in the Middle East due to the US-Iran conflict. Brent crude futures rose to $105.91 a barrel, and US WTI crude traded at $93.32.
