Pakistan Army Warns PTI Against May 9-Style Unrest Before Islamabad March

Pakistan's army commanders have issued a stern warning against any attempt to incite unrest similar to the May 9, 2023 events. This warning comes just two days before supporters of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan are scheduled to march towards Islamabad. The military stated that any such agitation would be met with decisive force and the rule of law. The warning was issued at the 277th Corps Commanders' Conference, chaired by Army Chief General Asim Munir.

पाकिस्तान के सेना कमांडरों ने 9 मई, 2023 की घटनाओं जैसी अशांति भड़काने के किसी भी प्रयास के खिलाफ कड़ी चेतावनी जारी की है। यह चेतावनी जेल में बंद पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान के समर्थकों के इस्लामाबाद की ओर मार्च करने के निर्धारित दो दिन पहले आई है। सेना ने कहा कि ऐसी किसी भी उत्तेजना का निर्णायक बल और कानून के शासन से सामना किया जाएगा। यह चेतावनी सेना प्रमुख जनरल आसिम मुनीर की अध्यक्षता में 277वीं कोर कमांडरों की कॉन्फ्रेंस में जारी की गई थी।
