Empowered Karnataka Run Held in Belagavi as Part of State Initiative

A national-level run, part of the 'Sashakta Karnataka' initiative announced in the state government's 2026-27 budget, was organized in Belagavi on Sunday. Flagged off at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, the event aimed to foster health and social harmony, transcending divisions. Participants of all ages, including children, youth, and senior citizens, took part in 5km, 10km, and 21km races. Future runs are planned for Hampi, Chitradurga, and Gokarna, continuing the mission to build an empowered Karnataka.
