Uganda's Boy King Oyo Laid To Rest

Uganda has concluded a nine-day mourning period for King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the Tooro Kingdom's late monarch. The king, who ascended the throne as a child in 1995 and died last month aged 34 from cancer, has triggered a succession dispute. While a royal clan committee chose his cousin Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma, the late king's family claims his will designates an unidentifiable son born out of wedlock as successor.
