Congress Claims CEC Violated Constitution Based On Justice Bhuyan's Remarks

The Congress party has asserted that remarks made by Supreme Court judge Justice Ujjal Bhuyan conclusively prove that CEC Gyanesh Kumar violated the Constitution. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh stated on X that Justice Bhuyan's view on the right to vote being part of the Constitution's basic structure demonstrates the CEC's violation. Ramesh further alleged that Justice Bhuyan's statements exposed the CEC, rendering him unfit to continue in office.
