Greater Noida Bus Fire Kills 9 Passengers

A sleeper bus travelling from Delhi to Mahoba caught fire late night on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, killing nine passengers and injuring several others. The bus, carrying around 35 passengers, reportedly began emitting smoke and a foul smell before flames erupted. Passengers sleeping on the upper deck had little chance to escape. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, with initial theories pointing to the AC system or engine.

दिल्ली से महोबा जा रही एक स्लीपर बस बीती रात ग्रेटर नोएडा के पास यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे पर आग की चपेट में आ गई। इस हादसे में नौ यात्रियों की मौत हो गई और कई घायल हो गए। बस में करीब 35 लोग सवार थे। आग लगने से पहले धुंआ और बदबू फैलने की बात सामने आई है। ऊपरी डेक पर सो रहे यात्रियों को निकलने का मौका नहीं मिला। आग के कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए जांच चल रही है।
