Tigress Captured For Buxa Reintroduction After Nine Days

A three-year-old tigress has been successfully captured at Bihar's Valmiki Tiger Reserve after a nine-day effort. The animal, which is healthy and has been radio-collared, is scheduled for reintroduction into West Bengal's Buxa Tiger Reserve. Forest officials faced challenges due to rain but finally managed to dart the tigress on Tuesday evening. The tigress will be airlifted from Gorakhpur to Hasimara in north Bengal, then transported by animal ambulance to Buxa. This operation signifies a crucial step in wildlife conservation efforts.

बिहार के वाल्मीकि टाइगर रिजर्व में नौ दिनों के अथक प्रयास के बाद तीन साल की एक बाघिन को सफलतापूर्वक पकड़ा गया है। यह स्वस्थ बाघिन, जिसे रेडियो कॉलर लगाया गया है, को पश्चिम बंगाल के बक्सा टाइगर रिजर्व में फिर से छोड़ने की योजना है। बारिश के कारण वन अधिकारियों को चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ा, लेकिन आखिरकार मंगलवार शाम को बाघिन को बेहोश करने में वे सफल रहे। बाघिन को गोरखपुर से उत्तर बंगाल के हासीमारा ले जाया जाएगा, और फिर बक्सा तक पशु एम्बुलेंस द्वारा पहुंचाया जाएगा। यह अभियान वन्यजीव संरक्षण के प्रयासों में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
