Switzerland's broadcasting authority has ruled that a TV commentator's remarks about the Israeli bobsleigh team's pilot, Adam Jeremy Edelman, breached discrimination rules. The commentator referred to Edelman as "a Zionist to the core" and suggested his participation was questionable due to social media posts. The Independent Complaints Authority found the commentary conveyed a stigmatising message, subjecting the athlete to unequal treatment. This ruling came after four public complaints were upheld regarding the broadcast during the Winter Olympics.
