Ohio's Former SeaWorld and Six Flags Site Reopens As Recreation Park

Times of India - India · india

After years of abandonment, a 48-acre site in Ohio that once housed SeaWorld and Six Flags amusement parks is set to reopen on October 25 as Aurora Park at Geauga Lake. The city acquired the lakefront property for $5.3 million in December 2024, with the first phase focusing on outdoor recreation and restoring historic structures. While rides and animal shows will not return, the new park will offer a restored pier, picnic areas, and boating access, with future phases planned for a playground and public beach.
