Ex-Manipur CM Biren Singh Blames BJP Leaders For Ouster, Questions Violence

Former Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has accused state BJP leaders of conspiring with the Congress to remove him from office. He alleged that some colleagues resented his rise after switching from Congress and felt the BJP was their property. Singh also questioned the continued violence in Manipur since his resignation in February 2025, pointing out that peace has not been restored. He expressed concern that the declining public confidence could hurt the BJP in upcoming assembly elections.

मणिपुर के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एन. बीरेन सिंह ने राज्य के बीजेपी नेताओं पर उन्हें पद से हटाने के लिए कांग्रेस के साथ मिलकर साजिश रचने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ साथियों को कांग्रेस से आने के बाद उनके बढ़ते कद से जलन थी और उन्हें लगता था कि बीजेपी उनकी अपनी संपत्ति है। सिंह ने फरवरी 2025 में अपने इस्तीफे के बाद से मणिपुर में जारी हिंसा पर भी सवाल उठाए और कहा कि शांति बहाल नहीं हुई है। उन्होंने चिंता जताई कि जनता का भरोसा कम होने से आने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों में बीजेपी को नुकसान हो सकता है।
