Trump Orders New NIH Division and Task Force for Women's Health

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order establishing a dedicated Women's Health Division within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a White House Women's Health Task Force. The initiative aims to close research gaps, improve clinical care, and coordinate federal efforts across all life stages for women and girls. The new NIH division, to be established within 90 days, will focus on understudied conditions and ensure greater inclusion of women in clinical trials.
