ओडिशा के मयूरभंज जिले के एक आश्रम स्कूल के हेडमास्टर को कक्षा 6 की छात्रा द्वारा यौन शोषण के आरोपों के बाद गिरफ्तार किया गया है। यह घटना तब हुई जब आरोपी ने कथित तौर पर नाबालिग को अपने कार्यालय बुलाया। छात्रा ने अपने माता-पिता को सूचित किया, जिसके बाद लिखित शिकायत और पुलिस जांच हुई। हेडमास्टर शुरू में फरार हो गया था लेकिन बाद में उसे उसके आवास पर हिरासत में ले लिया गया। पुलिस POCSO अधिनियम सहित संबंधित कानूनों के तहत मामले की जांच कर रही है और मामले को दबाने के प्रयासों के आरोपों की जांच कर रही है।
