Goa Advocates to Expand Protest Over Mutation Process Delays

SGAA will expand its agitation against delays in mutation and partition proceedings into a statewide movement across Goa. The decision follows a meeting with the collector, who had promised a revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that has not yet been issued. Advocates noted the current SOP lacks accountability for delays and suggested grievances be addressed to the collector instead of the mamlatdar. They highlighted that significant case disposals occurred only after their protest, questioning the administration's efficiency.
