BJP Agent Accused of Attempting to Delete 30 Voters in Hyderabad

Hyderabad police have registered a case against a 37-year-old BJP booth-level agent for allegedly trying to submit 30 pre-printed applications to remove voters from the electoral roll. The incident occurred at a polling station in the Musheerabad Assembly constituency. The agent, identified as S. Balachander, reportedly brought the Form-7 applications seeking voter deletion to Polling Station No. 210. Election officials refused to accept the bulk submission after verification found the electors were residing at their registered addresses. The case was filed based on a complaint by the Electoral Registration Officer.

हैदराबाद पुलिस ने 37 वर्षीय बीजेपी बूथ-लेवल एजेंट के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। आरोप है कि उसने 30 वोटरों के नाम मतदाता सूची से हटाने के लिए पहले से छपे हुए आवेदन जमा करने की कोशिश की। यह घटना मुशीरबाद विधानसभा क्षेत्र के एक मतदान केंद्र पर हुई। एजेंट, जिसकी पहचान एस. बालाचंदर के रूप में हुई है, कथित तौर पर मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाने के लिए फॉर्म-7 आवेदन पोलिंग स्टेशन नंबर 210 पर लाया था। चुनाव अधिकारियों ने सत्यापन के बाद थोक में आवेदन स्वीकार करने से इनकार कर दिया, जिसमें पाया गया कि मतदाता अपने पंजीकृत पते पर रह रहे थे। यह मामला निर्वाचक पंजीकरण अधिकारी की शिकायत के आधार पर दर्ज किया गया था।
