Women-led initiative removes education barriers for children

In Jamshedpur, Mission Prahaar, a women-led initiative founded in 2020 by Ritika Srivastava, is helping children from financially vulnerable families access and continue their education. The program supports approximately 12 to 15 children annually, covering admission fees, uniforms, and books, with girls making up nearly half of the beneficiaries. Beyond enrollment, Mission Prahaar provides two hours of free daily tuition and self-defence training to foster safety, confidence, and discipline. This initiative aims to ensure no child is denied education due to financial difficulties, making a crucial difference for families.

जमशेदपुर में, 'मिशन प्रहार' नाम की एक महिलाओं की पहल, जिसे 2020 में रितिका श्रीवास्तव ने शुरू किया था, आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों के बच्चों को शिक्षा दिलाने में मदद कर रही है। यह प्रोग्राम हर साल 12-15 बच्चों की फीस, यूनिफॉर्म और किताबों का खर्च उठाता है, जिसमें लगभग आधी लड़कियाँ होती हैं। साथ ही, बच्चों को रोज़ाना दो घंटे मुफ्त ट्यूशन और आत्मरक्षा का प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जाता है। इसका मकसद है कि कोई भी बच्चा पैसों की तंगी के कारण पढ़ाई से वंचित न रहे।
