LDA Seals SA Apartment Due To Structural Damage

Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) sealed SA Apartment in Wazirganj on Tuesday after a damaged pillar caused wall cracks and vibrations. All 25 families residing in the building were evacuated on Monday due to safety concerns. The LDA is currently stabilising the structure with hydraulic jacks and has assigned technical assessment and retrofitting to PWD and Setu Nigam. The authority will also inspect other multi-storey buildings in the vicinity as a precautionary measure.

लखनऊ डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी (LDA) ने मंगलवार को वज़ीरगंज में SA Apartment को सील कर दिया। एक क्षतिग्रस्त पिलर की वजह से दीवार में दरारें आ गईं और कंपन होने लगा। सुरक्षा चिंताओं के चलते सोमवार को बिल्डिंग में रहने वाले सभी 25 परिवारों को बाहर निकाल लिया गया था। LDA फिलहाल हाइड्रोलिक जैक की मदद से स्ट्रक्चर को स्थिर कर रही है और PWD और Setu Nigam को तकनीकी मूल्यांकन और रेट्रोफिटिंग का काम सौंपा गया है। एहतियात के तौर पर अथॉरिटी आस-पास की अन्य मल्टी-स्टोरी बिल्डिंग्स का भी निरीक्षण करेगी।
