Pakistan Building Mosques Near PoK Highways, Raising Terrorist Base Concerns
News18 Hindi · india
Indian agencies have identified over a dozen locations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) where Pakistan is expanding religious complexes and building mosques near major highways connecting it to Pakistan. These constructions are occurring close to the Indian border and the Line of Control (LoC). Authorities fear these sites could be repurposed by terrorist organizations as new, smaller bases, diversifying their network after India's 'Operation Sindoora'. This strategy aims to decentralize terrorist operations, making them harder to target and easier to manage logistics. The proximity to military infrastructure further heightens concerns.
