Uttarakhand Homestay Scheme Offers Rs 15 Lakh Subsidy

The Uttarakhand government has launched the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grah Aawas Vikas Yojana to boost rural and eco-tourism. Permanent residents can receive financial aid for constructing or upgrading homestays. Beneficiaries in hilly areas can get up to 50% subsidy, capped at Rs 15 lakh, plus an interest grant. Plain areas receive up to 25% subsidy, capped at Rs 7.50 lakh, with an interest grant.

उत्तराखंड सरकार ने ग्रामीण और इको-टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा देने के लिए दीनदयाल उपाध्याय गृह आवास विकास योजना शुरू की है। इसके तहत स्थायी निवासी होमस्टे बनाने या सुधारने के लिए आर्थिक मदद ले सकते हैं। पहाड़ी इलाकों में लाभार्थियों को 15 लाख रुपये तक 50% सब्सिडी और ब्याज अनुदान मिलेगा। मैदानी इलाकों में 7.50 लाख रुपये तक 25% सब्सिडी और ब्याज अनुदान दिया जाएगा।
