Punjab's Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh has declared a zero-tolerance policy against the misuse of essential medicines for drug abuse. He reviewed the 'Yudh Nasheyan Virudh' campaign, emphasizing that while most chemists are trusted, 35 identified drug hotspots in Patiala are under close monitoring. Special checks will be conducted around educational institutions, and drug licensing authorities will inspect dealers with police support to ensure compliance and prevent illegal sales of life-saving drugs.
